Policy and advocacy are important pieces in creating good equity outcomes however because of the system in which and for which policies are created equity tends to have to take a back seat. It is crucial to bettering our work, that we learn ways to prioritise equity in our policy writing and in how we challenge the system to change and make space for shifting power dynamics.  
 
We hope to push the sector to understand the ways in which what and how we advocate for needs to have anti-racist, equitable, decolonial lenses. It is the policies that we create that have lasting effects and the ways in which we imbedded sometime harmful narratives. So how do we use policy-making and advocacy to create equitable and sustainable futures.
